THIS IS LOVE

Love does not use a gauge

To measure your age

The eyes see the eyes

And all differences die

The souls get trapped

In each other attached

Desperate to reach the other

As exists between

a child and a mother

In the embrace of a hug

The hearts feel a tug

In the souls need, to unite

The bodies get entangled, to tie

For physically this is how near,

they can together come

For many love ends here

but not for some

And if the souls get truly bound

It is only heaven and heaven around.

They will search and travel

time and space

Nothing can stop them,

not even God’s mace

In this spiritual love of the spirits

Enlightenment always visits.
