PINK DELIGHT
So many colours
But what catches the eye
It is the ‘pink delight’
A colour of fantasy
Plays with your sanity
In love drowns you
Traps you in its hue
Kindness takes birth
Spreads softness on earth
Be it in butterflies
Or on lips shines
It pulls you to it
This pink delight
The rosy rose cheeks
Or the tresses’ streaks
You feel like touching
Songs you start humming
Little finger turned, pinky
Black, turned pink inky
My poems a lovely write
turned this pink delight
The sky at times glows
Like rosy meadows
Now a pinkie promise
Blooms flowers of bliss
This pink delight
Pinked my sight.
