ONLY LOVE SINGS
Every clink
Makes my mind
to think
And into
a love song I sink
Strange are
the sounds
around
Stranger am I
than these
sounds
For to me
in every sound
a hidden song
is found
It is only music
that me
surrounds
Some drink and
forget their
worries
For me music
makes worry
scurry
Life no longer
weary or
teary
I in a trance
dancing
with fairies
Those who remain
soaked
in songs
Can never ever
do anything
wrong
Let this world
ring
tring and dong
Let every
beating heart
within gong
The drop
sliding down
a leaf sings
That stream
gliding down
music brings
The stars hum
their tunes
in fixed rings
My soul
in music
sees colours
of spring.
