MY HEART ELOPED WITH HIS POEMS
My heart eloped
with his
magical poems
But this I knew
was
bound to happen
How long could I
keep it
tight within
Was blowing
fire
on me
like a dragon
I tried to douse
with my
crocodile tears
Sing songs
to it
like a lover does
Not a flicker
of feel
in the eyes or tears
Blackmailed me
into a jittery
buzz
Kicked open
door
and just
walked out
Ran straight
into the
arms of lover
While I a
heartless
creature now
Used my arms
to hug myself
and cower
In heart of hearts
this heartless
creature
Wanted to do
the same
as heart
But who will help
to spread
this news
To my heart
and his poems
who did depart
I too
In love
with his
dear poems
I need
one daily
to survive
Please send
one surely
to on feed
Or take me too
or else
I die.
