MOONS UNDER DUNES

So many moons got buried in earth

And you have eyes for the one thought dearth

You too got dazzled by the false glitter

When the shine shown comes from the silent lover

You too could have aired the embers in their eyes

You wasted writing poems for the one in the sky

Some unfulfilled romantic yearns you penned

What did you really get, from doing this; in return

A few words of praise by people alike

Blind to those moons, did they not strike

While so many moons got buried in earth

Rejoicing, all appear on the day of their birth.
