HEY ! MOON A LOON

Waves rise within

and flow from eyes

My cheeks now wet

and lips in thirst

Sucks it back

and tongue too wipes

Now all is dry

But I did cry

Hey! Moon a loon

All I did

was look at moon

All tides did bloom

High and low

And ebb too flow

You think you glow

Hey! Moon a loon

What moon are you

A silver plate

With dust on it

The dark sky holds

To show your face

Your other face

Is never seen

For it is dark

As dark as night

Hey! Moon a loon

And darkness laughs

Till dawn awakes

And wipes you out

with golden rays.

In mind no more

And none do try

in sky to pry

Hey ! Moon a loon

I try to look

at Sun at times

He burns my eyes

all tears he dries

A golden plate

Unblemished fate

All life depend

You can’t transcend

Hey! Moon a loon.
