Hey Life! I don’t need to know you

This is now ringing true

What is there to know

Everytime a new colour you show

Like a feather, fly me around anywhere

Who can question you or dare

I am like that leaf on the flowing water

Twirl me around or you may even slaughter

Thought about you a lot, life dear

Thinking gave me, no answers clear

Always felt you were insincere

Suspicious was I of your veneer

When I slowly lifted your silken sheer

Found, I a puppet and you a puppeteer

When the strings are in your hands

What is there left to understand

Hey Life! There is nothing left to know

Still with a battered oar, I row

My boat heads where
