HEART LOCKET
I don’t have a penny
in my pocket
Still want to somehow give you
that Ruby heart locket
Day and night
you crave for it
Lost in sad thoughts
you silently sit
But you never ever
give me a hint
I have no means
to ever mint
It will take years
even if I try
How can I watch you
for years cry
Hiding behind tree trunks
and walls
Your pained heart
for it calls
Dear let me rip my heart
out of my chest
You wear it as a locket,
let me on your breast rest
My heart will ever be
able to hear your beats
Please fulfill my wish,
my last earnest entreat.
