‘BE’, NOT ‘BECOME’

It is better to ‘be’

than to ‘become’

Let them you see

Not the false awesome

You might feel a queen

All for you may be keen

Will not your thoughts haunt

Is this what you really want

Then a time will surely come

All will vanish, there will be none

Standing next to you

For they no longer can view

The colours you had painted

Which now appear tainted

Your soul will weep blood tears

Your soul will fill up with fear

You never thought of loving

False praise were you enjoying

Your soul kept knocking you

This is wrong, please do not do

Now dear, see you stand alone

Better to your soul atone

It is better to ‘be’

than to ‘become’.
