BARRIERS

BARRIERS
Life taught me a lot of patience
I was always in a state of explosion
For when I gave my blood
I was laughed at
Now muck , cleaned with tissue paper
becomes a work of art
Time, such strange games you play
You certainly taught me in shocking ways
What I felt precious to be admired
You made those things go haywire
What I felt was a thorn in my eye
At times a throbbing sty
Became what I could not say good bye
Space, I always selfishly wanted for myself
But things started filling all by itself
Now my thoughts fly to fill up leftover empty space
With what I gave up and what was wiped from face
Barriers I never appreciated
Walls of home also ever irritated
Why get trapped within these
Blind to all, it makes with ease
Sound you kept me well tuned to live
With you around I never repented to give
I vibrated to all the frequencies of wavelengths
The sweet musical notes were ever my true strength
Love you gave me the freedom I craved
This freedom I will relish too, in my grave
For then too I will be freely flying around
Breaking barriers of time ,space and sound.
