Sunita Grover Raina (21/11/59) is originally from Srinagar(J&K) , India. She is born and brought up in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Always a student of science stream. She graduated with Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honors) from Jadavpore University, Kolkata. She joined Govt. service in the year 1983 for the post of Inspector of Drugs. Finally reaching the highest position as the Director of Drugs Control (West Bengal) in the Department of Health and Family Welfare for the State of West Bengal. She has retired in Nov’2019.
She was a very active sports person in her college days and represented her University as a Captain for Table Tennis. Also an excellent Shuttler and Cyclist. She is fond of music and Pets.
She joined an online poetic forum-Poemarium by Dr N K Sharma on 31/03/21 at the age of 61, due to curiousity and has been continuing writing, since then, non stop.
Within this short period she has won many accolades and won the hearts of many. Many of her poems have been published in several Anthologies and in Web magazines.
She is a poet who writes from her heart and has been labeled an untailored poet.
