ONE AND ONLY ONE

When eyes meet

Where does religion go?

When hearts greet

Where do borders go?

When smiles are sweet

where do worries go?

When love within beats

Where does hatred go?

When souls meet

Where do all questions go?

When eyes speak

Language looks weak

When heart together sings

Bells in shrines rings

When the fragrance touches

Skin with love blushes

Just a mere thought then

Springs the question when

Same love, all gods teach

Still, hatred we humans preach

All doors for us he shut

All links with us he cut

We are busy making borders

Circulating religious orders

Looking down on each other

Bringing division in one another

When nothing exists but love

Grab it and fly to him as love doves

What colour, religion and race?

Him you surely will have to face.

Give your hearts to all

Let created differences, fall

We are one

One and only one

On this Earth

Under the same Sun.
