EVERGREEN
Like new leaves shoot out
of living stems
My poems too emerge
from my divine realm
My veins are ever flowing
with thoughts
Fed to me and by
invisible energies brought
These turn into a
colourful cluster
When my pen flows
and words do muster
Each leaf sways
and dances to the breeze
Making different music
for those to appease
At times they detach
to fly far and afar
And aim to descend
on lonely stars
Their hearts fill up
with love and hope
And with my leaf
their hearts elope
Lyrical leaves never die
but sing in air
And new ones arrive
with my branded flair.
May all my lyrics
be evergreen
God’s blessings, coat them
with a protective sheen.
