Hey dew drop stop sticking to the leaf

Enough of your plans to attract

You think you are a pearl

You are worse than a wooden burl

In a second I can expose your reality

Slight jerk on the leaf will prove the actuality

Forever your presence will vanish

Your reputation I can tarnish

It is that leaf that allows that adherence

And along with light gives you the pearly appearance

Enjoy your short glory which sun allows

Before he into oblivion, sets your destination

A fake you are, that gives temporary excitement

And when you disappear

No one actually cares

For they have the showy ones at home

To dazzle other’s eyes.
