Dear let me be
what I am
Dear let me do
what I can
I am still what you saw
and loved
Now you want me
in another mould shoved
That ‘Raina’ won’t be
in the new me
Maybe a beautiful
singing Myna to see
My new self
will then seek
a new you
We will vanish our ways
in this vast sky blue
Dear what did you gain
by changing my hues
Entwined as one
were our hearts
which you broke in two.
