A BIRD I AM
Which world looks good
The one I see
Or the one I brood
Where I wish to be
This took my sleep
In that I dream
A dream
within a dream
I cook
A pair of eyes
that never look
Like I exist
Rest life all took
Alone I came
If alone
I go
Why do I bother
and not let go
Now when
all cords
I tore, to free
Now all
they come
For me to see
And in my need
When I called out
None had time
Till all passed out
An angel now
they view in me
Scattered dreams
is what I see
A bird I am
Like a bird I see
Like a bird I fly
Like a bird I sleep
This world looks good
With a bird’s eye view
Free like a bird
My wings grew too.
An angel. Nay!
A bird you view
None can catch me
With, within, I flew.
