LOVE GLANCE
Turning your
glance away
will not
deceive me
The ins and outs
of your heart
I clearly see
I know
from where birth
takes your thoughts
Will not shake my love
or with difficulties
be fraught
You love to see
the worries
in my eyes
with such acts
And when I show
you come running
for my sadness
to distract
I have become seasoned
to this
with passing time
I too love to act
to get
you to me entwined
For there is more love
pouring out
of you
to calm my self
Am I a fool
to give up
this bumper prize
which my soul
gets to engulf
Keep playing

to love me

I will play along too
but not
to score
I love being a loser
